A leaked image has recently surfaced which shows what is allegedly the LG G6 front panel that appears to be fully assembled complete with connecting circuitry. Although this may be showing the real front panel of the LG G6 for the first time, it’s not necessarily the first time that the phone itself has been on display fully assembled, as numerous renders have popped up online in addition to other leaked images of the phone itself as well as cases, which also show the design of LG’s next flagship. That being said, this particular image does at the very least seem to match up with previous leaks.
In this image you can see that the panel showcases a set of extremely thin bezels on the left and right sides of the display, and while not quite as slim, the top and bottom bezels are fairly minimal as well. The LG logo is present on the bottom of the panel while the front-facing camera and ambient light sensors are located at the top. In the image the front panel looks white, although it could just be the light hitting it that makes appear brighter, as previous leaks of the LG G6 have shown a silver colored device but not white.
LG is expected to unveil the LG G6 at Mobile World Congress at the end of this month, and they have already confirmed their press conference while also naming it LG G6 day. So while LG has confirmed that they will be announcing the phone officially at the end of this month, they still have not confirmed any details of the phone such as the design that’s been showing up in leaks, or specs that have accompanied the images. Without LG’s confirmation, though, most of the details including hardware specs and design are more or less suspected. The only thing which doesn’t seem to have leaked at this point is the actual costs of the phone as well as availability date, and which carriers will be selling it, though it is highly likely that all the major U.S. carriers will have it in their lineup.
