Apple Allegedly Facing Technical Issues With Dual Cameras; Feature To Skip The iPhone 7 Plus
When it comes to technical issues with new features on upcoming devices, the dual camera won't be the first time Apple's had to abandon new technologies. The company's plans to inculcate sapphire displays into the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus were met with similar disruptions, when its primary supplier GT technologies faced bankruptcy, back in 2014.
With the iPhone 7 Plus, perhaps the most interesting feature that the rumor mill has presented us so far is the dual camera making it on board the device. To that end, we've already seen countless renders, schematics, images and other news surface which make the feature appearance on the device quite high a probability. However, today we're hearing some alleged claims from Apple's primary manufacturer in the East, Foxconn that cast doubt on whether the feature will be making it on board the iPhone 7 Plus.
According to some alleged whisperings of Foxconn's internal staff, Apple's been facing technical difficulties when implementing the dual camera on the iPhone 7 Plus, and due to this, the feature will not be making it on the device. Given that evidence in the favor of the feature far outweighs today's claims, we'd advise you to take things with a hefty grain of salt as of now and wait for more information to surface in the future, which it undoubtedly will.
